Estrogen Deficiency & Treatments

Among all the essential hormones, estrogen is the most vital hormone in females.  The deficiency of estrogen happens when its levels in the body get decreased.  This is generally experienced during the menopausal phase, but, at times, can happen before attaining the menopause.  The low levels of estrogen upset the menstrual cycle, causing related abnormalities.  Certain females may also experience early menopause, which is prior to the age of 40.  This also causes decreased levels of estrogen in the body.

  1. For getting rid of the estrogen deficiency, take a good quantity of minerals and vitamins in your diet.
  2. Only females who are evidently lacking estrogen should compensate with its supplements.
  3. Including progesterone with estrogen usually is more beneficial.
  4. Always use supplements under the doctor’s supervision and guidance.
